YOU ARE THE POWER – NEVER FORGET IT
There’s something incredible that we often forget in the hustle of life, business, relationships, and identity—we are not what others make us. We are what we choose to be.
One of the greatest lessons I ever learned—and one I’ll never forget—is this:
You are not in love with a person, a job, a business, or a lifestyle. You are in love with who you become when you’re in that space.
Think about that.
When you’ve been at your best—your happiest, your most confident, most loving self—it’s not because of someone else. It’s because of what they brought out in you. But the truth is:
it was always there. It was your power, your kindness, your confidence, your spark.
The moment we start tying our happiness, our self-worth, or our identity to a person, a job, a business, or even success, we risk giving away our power. And when those things go—when a relationship ends, a job changes, a business struggles—it’s easy to feel lost, broken, like you’re not good enough.
But let me tell you something straight:
You didn’t become amazing because of them.
You were amazing. And they simply helped you see it.
Yes, they created an environment. Yes, they opened a door.
But you walked through it.
You did the work.
You showed up.
You made the impact.
And you can do that again—anywhere, anytime, with anyone.
Whether it’s a relationship that ended, a boss who no longer sees your worth, or a business that’s lost its way, remember:
The source of your greatness was never them. It’s always been you.
That power? Still inside you. That energy? Still yours. That version of you? Still available—on demand.
Stop giving your power away to things that can be taken from you. A person. A car. A job. A status. A title.
Those are just catalysts—temporary mirrors to help you see the brilliance you already hold.
You control your destiny. You define your value. You choose your future.
So the next time life knocks you, when you feel off balance, when you feel like something’s been taken from you—stand tall.Look in the mirror and remind yourself:“It’s not them. It’s me. I made that magic. I built that version. I created that life.”
And if you did it once, you can do it again.
